Marvelous Monday
We had a Marvelous Monday! Our day started with a visit from Mrs. Keith, the Media Specialist at our school. She brought laptops to our classroom and we got to practice working on a laptop! We did a fabulous job!
We got to have lunch in our classroom as one of our "end-of-the-year fun things!" We thought this was a lot of fun!
In th afternoon, we had a parent and one of her colleagues visit us from MU. They taught us some things about France and we even practiced some French words and counting in French! We were great listeners!
Field Day and End-of-the Year Celebration

Elephant Toothpaste/ Guest Readers
We were treated with a visit from a parent this morning! She read us a book about an elephant, did an animal movement song with us, and then made "Elephant Toothpaste!" This was a very cool experiment! The ingredients in the "toothpaste" were: hydrogen peroxide, dish soap, warm water, food coloring, and yeast. We LOVED this experiment!

A Busy Monday!
We had a busy, great day today! Our morning started with a surprise visit from Clifford! We enjoyed having him stop by our classroom!
After lunch, we had a visitor from MU come and do a force and motion lesson with us. He brought a toy armadillo that rode on a skateboard! We had fun figuring our ways to make Ron the Armadillo go faster and slower on a ramp! We did some great thinking like engineers during this lesson!
To end our day, we had a parent come and do a presentation on China. We had so much fun trying to use chopsticks to pick up pieces of candy! We also loved eating the yummy noodles she prepared for us! She gave us each a beautiful refrigerator magnet to take home and a paper "jack-in-the box" that was really neat! We enjoyed learning about China!
