Some of us thought the peels looked like "apple spaghetti" when Mrs. Bickel put them in this bowl!
This is what our applesauce looked like when we started cooking it. We added water, brown sugar, and cinnamon to the crockpot after dumping in the apples. Our classroom smelled delicious while our applesauce cooked!!!
This is what our applesauce looked like after it was finished cooking. Only two students in our class didn't like the applesauce we made. The rest of us LOVED it!!! It tasted really sweet!
During math time today we sorted some apples. We also talked about other ways we could sort them. Some of our ideas included: big apples/little apples, apples with stickers/apples without stickers, apples with stems/apples without stems. In this picture we sorted red apples, green apples, yellow apples, and other apples (Gala, Braeburn, etc.). We counted how many apples were in each of our groups, too!
The applesauce looks yummy!!
