Dr. Seuss's Birthday!

We celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday today!  We enjoyed reading several of his books, and we learned that he enjoyed collecting hats.  We designed our own hats today and he would have loved them!  We also made a "green egg" snack using pudding, vanilla wafers, and sprinkles.  We did some Dr. Seuss math using Goldfish crackers after we read the book "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish."  It was a fun day in our classroom!

Check out these hats we made!

Our silly poses!

This was our "green egg" snack!  It's supposed to resemble a fried egg with salt and pepper on it!
