Pumpkin Carving/Flying Bats

We carved a pumpkin today!  We had to pull all of the seeds and "pumpkin guts" (as we called them) out of our pumpkin!  We weren't crazy about having to touch the "pumpkin guts" but Mrs. Bickel encouraged us to touch them anyway!  We think our jack-o-lantern looks great!


We flew bats today in our classroom!  After we threw them into the air, we looked to see whose bat went the farthest in our classroom.  You can probably tell from the picture below that it was a crazy, fun time!

    I really like your pumpkin. I wish you all would come over and help us get rid of our pumpkin's guts. I don't like that part either! :)

    Ewwww, I don't like pumpkin guts either. It is so slimy!!
